The 44th Mu Alpha Theta National Convention will be held from
July 20-25 in Orlando, FL
at the DoubleTree at the Entrance to Universal.
This year's hosts will be:
- Rob Snow, Deerfield Beach High School in Deerfield Beach, FL
- Lisa Herron, Cypress Bay High School in Weston, FL
- Test Coordinator: Brandi Hillard from Vero Beach High School

Be sure to print all information.
On Wednesday, schools will have the option of going to Universal Orlando, Sea World, and/or Disney World.
Theme park tickets are NOT included in the registration fee! To order tickets to Disney World, please click here.
Information on how to purchase tickets for Universal Orlando and Sea World can be found in the information packet.
Additional nights will be available three nights before and after the convention at $129/room per night plus taxes.
To make reservations, sponsors need to print the 2014/Pre-Post Reservation Form and School Rooming Sheet
and follow the directions included.
Parents or others
not attending as chaperones need to book reservations by emailing their needs to the National Office, firstname.lastname@example.org.
They should not try to book rooms in our block through the hotel.
Convention Need-Based Scholarships:
The sponsor of each chapter attending the National
Convention may nominate one member for a Need-Based Scholarship. The scholarship
will cover the member's registration and reimbursement of up to $250 for transportation to the Orlando
The application deadline is May 15th.

New! Silver Sponsor Award
Any sponsor who has served 25 years or
more and is bringing students to convention may, upon request, have their registration fee waived.
All students participating in National Convention must be registered
with the National Office of Mu Alpha Theta as either members or associates
of the organization. Associates can be entered by sponsors
online at Mu Alpha Theta's website by logging in and pressing the
"Add Associates" button.
